  Where is the bus stop and how much is the fare?

  The bus stop is directly outside of the Resort to the right and the fare is US$1.25 one way or US$2.00 round trip, you must have exact change.

  Can we use a laptop computer at Costa Linda?

  With a purchase of a Setarnet Wifi card you can. Reception is best in the lobby area, however you may find reception at the pool and some of the patios. Purchase a Wifi card at the front desk for $35 for a 7-day card or $10 for a 24-hour card. Price subject to change. No refunds.

  What is my password to access the Members Forums and Members Only area of the website?

 *LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS: Your USER NAME is your CONTRACT NUMBER (less the preceding zeros). Your PASSWORD is the first five letters of the LAST NAME associated with that contract number, all in capital letters, no spaces, no punctuation. (If your name is fewer than 5 letters, use full last name).

NOTE: Your CONTRACT NUMBER is not your unit and week number; it is the number on the right corner of your Contract or Purchase Agreement. It is also indicated in your Share Certificate and Membership Card. Problems? Contact us.

  Do I need a password to post to the Rentals or Resales Boards?

  Yes, the same login/password configuration mentioned above is required for initial posts on the Rentals and Resales Boards. Anyone can view your posts and reply to your posts.

  How do I post a message on the Members Forums?

  First time Costa Linda Forum users will need to set up an account, click on the aqua REGISTER button at the top of the Forum page to set up your personal account (this is separate from your members only login account mentioned above). Once you sign up for an account, an email will automatically come to you with your temporary password. Click on the blue MY PROFILE button at the top of the Forum page to change the password to something easy to remember.

  Are there any hair dryers in the rooms?

  Yes, all master bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer.

 Do you have tennis rackets and balls available?

 The front office has tennis rackets for rent and tennis balls for sale. To reserve in advance your tennis racquets or cell phone, please visit the front desk or email.

 Are VCR's available for the room?

  We have a limited stock of VCR's for rent at the Front Desk, please send us an email, fax, or just request it upon check in and wewill install it in your room. The cost is $8.00 per day / $50.00 per week

  Does Costa Linda provide wheelchairs?

  Yes, we do have wheelchairs but they are limited, therefore we suggest that you contact us about 4 weeks prior to your arrival to reserve the wheel chair.

  Does Costa Linda have cribs, highchairs, strollers and playpens?

  We do have cribs and highchairs, contact us 4 weeks prior to reserve these. Sorry, we do not have strollers or playpens.

  Are accommodations available for single nights?

  Yes room reservations can be made for you for one or multiple nights, email us or phone extension 606 or 607.

  Does Costa Linda do direct in-house exchanges?

  No, because we are sold out, in-house exchanges are no longer possible.

  Can we let a guest use our timeshare week?

  Yes, you can, we only require that you fax us an authorization prior to the arrival of your guests (at least 2 weeks). Fax your authorization to 011-297-583-6199 attention Reservations Department.

  Are there any bbq grills at the resort?

  Yes, there are 2 bbq grills directly on the beach, please call for the operator to ignite the grill and advise them when you are finished using it. It is FREE of charge.

  Is there a facility for a small private gathering?

  A private gathering can be kept at the Sun deck on the fourth floor. Simply make your reservations at the Front Desk. The Sun deck offers you a built in bbq grill, 2 Jacuzzi's, 2 restrooms, chairs and tables; a minimum clean up charge will apply.

 Is there a legal Procedure to add, remove or change names in our contract?

 Do you have notary on the island?

  YES, we do have a notary on the island; the information is available at the Members Services Department. A fee applies.

  What is my contract number?

  The number on the right corner of your Purchase Agreement that reads contract #. The contract number is also displayed on your Share Certificate and Membership Card.

  Can Costa Linda deposit our week for us?

  No...Only owners are authorized to bank their weeks.

  Can any member of the family bank in RCI?

  NO…Only those names registered on your contract.

  Can our guests use the facilities while we are here?

  Yes, but you cannot exceed the maximum occupancy.

  Can members be given guest privileges to use the facilities at Costa Linda during their stay on the island, if staying at another hotel?

  No, members are only authorized to use the facilities when staying at Costa Linda (during their week(s), through an RCI exchange, or as a guest). We are sold out and our facilities are reserved for the exclusive usage of the members and guests staying at the resort.

  I recently divorced, may I deposit a week using my maiden name?

  If your name has changed (divorce, married, etc) and you have not notified the resort to make the necessary changes, please continue using the name as written on your contract, since that is the information that we use to verify your deposit.

  Why do we have to pay the maintenance fee in advance when depositing our week 44 with RCI?

  Our fiscal year runs from November 01 through October 31 (weeks 44 to week 43). This means that if you are going to deposit week 44, 2006, this actually corresponds to our fiscal year 2007. The same will apply for weeks 44 through 52, 2006- “equal to the fiscal year 2007.”

 Do we have to contact RCI again after paying a week that was denied for maintenance fee?

  YES…Please re-deposit your week with RCI after paying your maintenance fee.
